Critiques

:iconlramirez:
Ixilder's particular style offers an interesting image, so rich in textures and ideas and clear in the purpose itself of the image. The colors and the iconic shapes of the angel and the demon communicates effectively the main subject.

On the other hand, the symmetrical and classical composition fades the main idea of the decision and the balance, embedded to the main subject. Maybe the symmetry is important to show the duality, but the pose of the hybrid character could be a little bit more dynamic.

However, the composition is not the most important feature in the image. The complex texture, including words related to each side, makes the deviation amusing, and it is also able to keep the observer look for the phrases in the image. Furthermore, the election of curves for the white side and triangles in in the red side creates suggestive textures, which, in my case, makes me desire to feel them if this were an oil painting.

Overall, the deviation is a good example of hard work and conviction, following one's style in order to present several topics. If the quality of the work shown here is a constant in further projects, I'll be happy to add them to my Favorites.
